XLSX
Set up once. Then it's one upload a month.
The tedious part, mapping columns and matching account details, is done a single time per bank. qbosync remembers it.
Add a bank profile
Enter the routing and account details once, and confirm which columns hold the date, description, and amount. Saved for good.
Upload the statement
Drop in this month's CSV, Excel, or PDF export. qbosync applies your saved mapping automatically: no re-mapping, ever.
Download the .QBO
Get a QuickBooks Web Connect file ready to import into QuickBooks Online or Desktop. Same file works for both.
Everything the desktop converters get wrong
Built as a hosted tool that remembers your work, protects against double-imports, and handles the files banks actually give you.
Saved per-bank mapping
Map each bank's columns once. Every future upload from that account applies it automatically, with no reconfiguring month after month.
Duplicate-safe imports
Every transaction gets a stable, deterministic ID, so re-uploading an overlapping period never double-posts into QuickBooks.
PDF statements, too
Only got a PDF? qbosync reads the transactions straight from it and shows you an editable table to check before anything is generated.
Both directions
Push bank data in as .QBO, or pull a QBO/OFX file back out into a clean CSV or Excel spreadsheet whenever you need to read it.
Any bank's format
Single signed-amount columns or separate debit/credit columns, odd header rows, messy exports: qbosync detects and handles them.
Organized by client
Group bank profiles under each client, exactly how a bookkeeping practice is run. Everything stays separated and easy to find.

Encrypted in transit
Every upload and download runs over HTTPS. Your account credentials are hashed, never stored in plain text.
Never sold
We don't sell your data or your clients' data, ever. It's used only to produce the file you asked for.
Questions, answered
Does the .QBO file work with both QuickBooks Online and Desktop?
Yes. qbosync produces a Web Connect (.QBO) file, which imports into both QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop using the same file, with no separate formats to manage.
Will re-uploading a statement create duplicate transactions?
No. Each transaction is given a stable, deterministic ID derived from its date, amount, description, and account. If you re-import an overlapping period, QuickBooks recognizes the duplicates and skips them.
My bank only gives me a PDF. Can qbosync handle that?
Yes. Upload the PDF and qbosync extracts the transactions from it, then shows you an editable table to review against the original before it generates anything, so a misread amount never slips through.
Do I have to map columns every time?
Only the first time you upload from a given bank. qbosync saves the mapping to that bank profile and applies it automatically on every future upload.
Is qbosync affiliated with Intuit or QuickBooks?
No. qbosync is an independent tool that produces standard Web Connect files QuickBooks can import. QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online are trademarks of Intuit Inc.
What happens to my statements after conversion?
Uploaded files and generated outputs are automatically deleted within 48 hours. Your saved bank profiles (mapping and account details) persist so repeat uploads stay effortless, but the statement files themselves don't stick around.
